I got down and dirty with the soul sucking fun that is World of Warcraft. This is my Story
Hello All, Pandalicious has made her way back to ESH with yet again another post. But what is this?! It's not about Anime?! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. I'LL BE IN MY TRAILER! LOL Yes for the moment this post will not be on anything anime or manga related, but rest assured it will later pan out that way. ^^ I will never let you readers down....ever
Back to the point, Upon going to AB2K6 with mystic in the luscious goodie bag they give you at registration, inside lay a demo disk for World of Warcraft or WOW for short. I had heard about this game but at first didn't want to have to pay to play. But Demo, meaning free trial, I agreed and set up an account. It is EXCELLENT! Anyway. Today would be my 3rd day of the free promo but I bought the retail box because I DO INTEND to continue to play this game.
While I was questing yesterday with a guild that accepted my Night Elf (Name is Sujisan btw in Thrall ^^COME SAY HI!^^) Someone mentioned girls. SO...Being tempting to slightly promote this site, I began to ask if people had encountered actual girl gamers in WOW. In the guild I'm in alone there are about four of us...And get this...THEY ALL LOVE ANIME TOO! We were talking about Old School anime, like older Clamp Stuff and new stuff like Gilgamesh. I was very enthused by the whole thing really.
By the end of it I did go back to asking gamer related questions like so:
I asked the many males if they thought girl gamers were ugly. To my surprise they were all like "HELL NO, GG'S [girl gamers] ARE HOT!" One person told me he had run into a husband and wife who played WOW together! Then another guy told me that if he had to choose between a hot non gamer girl and a plain looking gamer girl, that he would AUTOMATICALLY go for the GG.
There are a lot of GG supporters out there in WOW and in Diablo II, Guild Wars, and Even YES YOU GUESSED IT Dungeons and Dragons!!!!! O.O *Ninjasistah, does that bring back memories or what!* Throughout the online gaming world, I have even heard rumor of a faction called PMS...And it is exclusively a girl gaming org. Though at this point it is only speculation but I will be looking more into and possibly talking about it in the next post or even in the Podcast.
