I do not like green eggs and ham but I do like I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs.
Hello There long time no post
And finally it isn’t manga!
I have five words for you… I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs
It is an anime put out by Pioneer. It has four disks, thirteen episodes of young love, coming to terms with the truth about themselves and life as they know it.
The story is about a young fresh teacher Hibiki Amawa... he is looking to be a gym teacher not only to mold the young minds of students through physical education but to also avoid the pain and suffering that will be inflicted on him by his crazy ass landlord.
Now we all know there are twists and turns so lets get to them. One: The only school around is only employed by women. So when you can’t beat them, join them. Hibiki dons on wig, skirt and heels to prove to a very stubborn staff that men can be as nurturing and caring as women.
Two: In high school we all think of falling in love. We are learning things not only from textbooks but also by interaction with our peers. [CUE HIGHSCHOOL KIDS!] You have your standard set of four girls: the overly sexy one, the quiet reserved one, the gutsy sporty one and the young innocent and naive one.
Some have boyfriends, some want boyfriends. And one wants... Hibiki?!
Yes the young one falls for Hibiki in woman wear and is trying to come to terms with this newfound emotion.
The boys who play opposite of these girls are dealing with their own emotions to deal with.
And what about Hibiki? He has feelings, too... special feelings.
So not only is Hibiki fighting for him right to teach, but his fight for all men and their place in the world.
If you don’t like cross dressing... don’t watch this.
If you don’t like teacher student love interests... don’t watch this.
If you support women’s rights?! BOOYA... take a peak at this.
If you love Crispin Freeman and want to have his children -- you will want to watch this to listen to his sweet sounds vocal stylings.
This is what I’d call a 3 out of 5.
It isn’t the best thing out there but it isn’t crappy crap either.
