Ladies and Gentlemen. Anime Lovers around the world unite. Let me tell you a tale of angels. These angels were divine but not by a higher power, but by the power of man.
Let me tell you all, when I first caught this series I thought it was going to be fan service up the ass!!!! [That’s the second season! LoL] But the first season is actually good in terms of storyline.
Once again ADV put out the complete collection [YES] and it was for cheaper than expected [FUCKING BOOYA!] Props to ADV for making slim packs far more affordable.
Now back to the anime in question. It is called Steel Angel Kurumi. The story is there is this young boy named Kagura Nakahito is forced to explore an abandoned building. While he is in there he discovers what he believes is a body. He calls out to her, and in a minor accident of things falling around them; he accidentally kisses her right on the mouth!
This in a sense revives her [or what we later discover is how you activate a steel angel] For those who haven’t figured it out, Steel Angels are androids, who will display unmatched loyalty to their master [whoever kisses them] So now poor Nakahito has himself a fully operational, beautiful [obviously drawn to be good on the eyes], slave who would do ANYTHING for him [yes anything your sick mind can come up with, if asked she’d do]
Of course there is some governments out to get these angels [yes I said angels which means there are more…many many more] and not just for their hot bodies but for the technology that is within their bodies [go figure right?]
There are 24 episodes in the first season. There is a second season called Steel Angel Kurumi 2 same robots…different masters and girl on girl action [yes we jump to the other side of the fence ladies and gentlemen!] There are 11 episodes to the second season and if you aren’t into saccharin then I suggest you stay away from this anime.
The is also an encore where all the angels compete over nakahito, and even a human fights for his love too…go figure and this boy hasn’t even hit puberty yet...damn he must be something.
If you are a fan of Greg Ayres and Hilary Haag and Monica Rial they are all in it. ADV Voice acting legends! [I love those guys]
For a saccharin title I give it 9 of 10 only because there is always room for improvement. I say you can’t go wrong with a little sweetness every once in a while.
