Look, like I said in the Podcast, Sony will sell every unit they ship in the US pre-January. Wait until the March-April-May period of time. People paying $3.20 a gallon for gas aren't going to buy a $600 game console when their slim PS2 is still running fine.
Lil' Timmy's going to have to mow a LOT of lawns this summer if he wants a PS3...mommy's got to pay the mortgage!
Totally. We're not worried (and by worried I mean actively fretting on a regular basis) about pay our mortgage. Even so, my uber-gadget-freak hubbie isn't planning on buying the damn thing till we HAVE to... and we'll have to when God Of War 2 comes out in Feb. screw the pre-xmas release. those bitches can wait. might get the 360 for xmas.... maybe..
Yeah, keep in mind GOWII is a PS2 game not a PS3 game: So if you are waiting until Feb to get a PS3 because you thought it was a PS3 title...t'aint so my friend. :D
