"Twisted Metal" Trailer Debuts, Release Date Announced

Be very afraid when you hear the ice cream truck playing on your street. Sweet Tooth is back, and he looks pissed! (Well, more pissed than usual.)

It has been announced that Twisted Metal is set to return this year on the PS3, with a release date of October 4. Developed by Eat Sleep Play the game will feature four-player multiplayer along with sixteen-player online modes (including Nuke Mode, where players go head-to-head with their opposing faction). As of right now four factions have been named: the Clowns, the Dolls, the Skulls and the Preachers, with the slight chance of a few more being announced. New and classic vehicles will be available to play, along with a massive arsenal of weapons and surprises. Expect more info to be revealed at E3 this year, with the possible chance of a playable demo.
