It's easy to get down on Sony for all the bad publicity surrounding the forthcoming release of the Playstation 3. To balance that out, we present 10 reasons why the PS3 will succeed.
1. "Sony" is much easier to spell than Meekrosnoft or Neentandoh and will likely be better understood on letters to Santa.
2. It's not really $600. It's $599! That's a five in the front -- not a six. Can't ya see that?
3. They went back to a controller without that annoying rumble feature. That's called "old school" and everyone knows old school is very cool among the kiddies.
4. It's got a PlayStation 2 INSIDE! Xbox can't say that.
5. The Blu-Ray player actually contains a blue ray, not an old-fashioned red one.
6. How else are ya gonna watch the HD version of Spiderman 3? You know it's not comin' out on HD-DVD.
7. They're waiting until November to bring it out. After all, everyone knows that nobody plays video games in the summer.
8. It'll make a great addition to your other Sony products, like your Vaio computer and Walkman MP3 player.
9. Do the math. Your friends will be more impressed knowing you spent $599 on the thing when they could only scratch together $199 for a Wii.
