Living in between Anime and Gaming: A Revelation is Born

    posted @ 8/29/2006 01:17:00 PM by Pandalicious
What is the missing link between anime and gaming?

I've come to realize throughout my quest to vanquish the evil demon that has possessed my soul [WoW if I have to spell it out] and my old time midnight lover anime, that something seemed to be amiss. But what could that be exactly? I had the idea that it might be something that many anime fans and gamers alike loved just the same if not MORE in some instances.

While I was battling through Searing Gorge [an area in WoW] I was talking with hello guildies [Hi Guildies!] and unlocked the secret that had been torturing my ever fleeting heart...it was Sci-Fi that I was lacking. But what would be my remedy? Star Trek? No. [though I did like Deep Space Nine] I have come across a series that many people seem to have a connection with. Maybe some of you share the same attraction. That series is Stargate SG-1.

I've only watched the first few episodes, and I'm filled with many questions, but I can't pull away...it's like crack in DVD form. I thought I'd share this bit of my revelation with you, my dear readers...and also pose a question to you.

Do you have a love for Sci-Fi as well?
    If so...what was your first?
