    Pandalicious Presents "Mirage of Blaze"

Its hot hot hot, and historically enlightening too!

Hello, Hello everyone. I'm back in full swing to bring forth my latest adventures in Anime and manga alike. So what do I have for you guys today? Is it something so sweet it will drive people to skip through flowers in slow motion. Is it so fucked up that you guys would think I was in need of some psycho evaluation by some top crack job doctors?!

Thanks to Magic I have been given the opportunity to take part in a 4 DVD volume set entitled "Mirage of Blaze'' It has a rock-esque opening song and is a shonen. [Now remember a shonen is an anime geared towards the male demographic, they also tend to have much more action] Now just because it is a shonen doesn't mean that us females wouldn't enjoy it I mean me and magic are in fact women and thus far I have liked the general concept of this series.

However I have also heard speculation that this series can be slightly considered on the yaoi side. Since the primary characters are male and there does seem to be a tension between some of them that leaves much to the imagination. But I will address that later.

Now just so you [the readers] know, I haven't finished watching this yet, it is a work in progress but those things that are left progressing, usually become a masterpiece right?

The story proceeds as follows, the main character Takaya Oogi is the smart ass high school student. He kinda has this best friend complex with his friend Yuzuru Narita ...but almost instantly their lives take a turn when they are thrown into an ancient war which is still being fought in their modern time in Japan. [Doesn't this sound promising] Takaya has to fight between keeping the identity he has been living with or adapt the life that people inform him that he lead. Oh? Did I mention that there is a giant Japanese history lesson that runs in this anime? Oh I didn't? well yea it does.

The romantic tension is tantalizing, and should be enjoyed by the masses. It's put out by Anime works, is visually appealing and the background music is moving. I suggest taking a peak at it if you get a chance.
