    Vibrations

posted @ 8/16/2006 07:35:00 PM by Monkey Doo
I was never a very big fan of the vibration function of the ps2 controller. It really kinda bugged me more then made me think it was cool. Especially when you set it on the table and the damn thing would start buzzing all over the place and then cause something to break. But it slowly began to grow on me for one reason and one reason alone.

I discovered the joy of playing a vibration happy game in my boxers with the controller sitting on my lap. I became addicted. I would place the limitless health cheat on in GTA and shoot some gangsta. The joy of having the controller rumble again and again until I was suddenly very tired and had the urge to sneeze was undescribable. I would spend ours in my room with clothes propped up against the door and training mode on DOA running.

This is why it saddens me so much to see that they are taking away my rumble function in the next system. Taking this function away removes the best play value of the playstation systems. I am so very disappointed in Sony for this poor poor call. Now if you excuse me, I am going to go play Magna Cum Laude for a few hours.

...Who am I kidding? It's only gonna take like 5 minutes....

I love Monkey, yes I Doo!
