If you were looking for a reason to purchase Guitar Hero World Tour, then you've got one now.Activision dropped a bomb on the gaming industry by announcing that Jimi Hendrix will make his video game debut as a playable character in Guitar Hero World Tour. The "strumming samurai" also brings with him two of his most popular tracks (for now):
"Purple Haze (Live)" (recorded in 1969 at the San Diego Sports Arena)
"The Wind Cries Mary"
This is big news and no doubt a smack in Rock Band's face delivered by Activision.
