HMV is jumping on the video game swap bandwagon. Starting Friday, they will begin accepting game trade-ins for all titles on the major platforms at over 160 locations worldwide. The credit can be used to purchase items sold within the store...CDs, DVD, games, etc.
I know they are trying to make a profit, but I hope their trade-in prices are better than GameStop. It really chaps my arse when I buy a game for $60+, finish the game, then go to trade it in a couple of weeks later (while it's still at the top of the charts), and being offered $20 for it.
Here's hoping HMV gets it right.
