El Shaddai? What the Hell is That?

It should not surprise me that a Japanese game would star a character who has an odd fashion sense. Is that a girl or a guy?

The name El Shaddai is of religious origin, and it relates to God. The game's story also is derived from religious writings. The main character's is Enoch, and he is involved in the battle between Heaven and Hell.

This means that Enoch will have to give some people a holy beatdown. However, screenshots of the game look like you will spend a lot of time exploring the world and enjoying its beauty.
