AikenLabs in Motion

One running theme of this year's Consumer Electronics Show was the detection of movement in devices. One company, AikenLabs, not only has developed such a system to detect motion, it gives PC and Mac gamers the ability to implement it in the games they've already purchased.

That's right -- you don't have to wait for a version of your favorite PC or Mac game to recognize your movements. Just attach one or more of these yellow cubes to your body (or your favorite implement of destruction) and assign that movement to the game instead of a handheld peripheral. It transmits via radio, so you don't have the spatial limitations of devices such as the Kinect or the Wii. Click here to learn all about it from NinJaSistah and Pandalicious.

Just make sure the living room is cleared before you start wielding your battleaxe.
