We designed this week's podcast as one that you can both see and hear -- at least, that's the plan. As you will hear, we spend the entire show playing the early stages of the video game Overcooked. And, with any luck, you'll be able to see us play it on our You Tube channel.

That's the plan anyway. Seeing it is actually going to take a few more days, but we're very hopeful. And what should you expect to see?

If you've played or seen Overcooked, it is a game in which partners operate the backend operations of a restaurant. Both players divvy up duties and try to prepare food -- soups, burgers and other dishes -- for servers.

Anyone who has worked for a restaurant or fast food (and that doesn't include us) knows that things often goes wrong behind the scenes, and this game accentuates all of that, often to comic effect. Things get burned, food gets dropped, rodents come to visit. All those things that you, as a potential diner, don't want to know about.

It certainly gives you pause for thought the next time you head to a restaurant, doesn't it?

If you can stomach it, please give this weeks show a listen: ESH Cast #549: It’s not about perfection — except it is. We'll let you know when it gets to You Tube.
