ESH Cast #553: Destiny rears its ugly head — ain’t that great?

Ninja and Panda were both back home where they belong this week, but they were both chock full of games, travel and movies.

Ninja had just returned from Washington state, where she attended both the PAX Dev developer's conference and the adjoining PAX West conference. Although she had been there 10 years ago, she says it has seemed to shrink greatly. Perhaps it's all that rain it gets.

In the meantime, Panda has seen the Stephen King movie It. Having also read the book, she says she enjoyed it greatly. It's not getting such great reviews from everyone, probably mostly from those who only remember the 1990 movie and can't read.

The Sistahs also played their share of games as well. Ninja hunkered down with the newly released Destiny 2 [PS4 box, PS4 digital code, Xbox One, PC], which she says is an improvement over the original game. And she was a huge fan of the original, as long-time listeners of the podcast will attest.

Panda continued playing games she's found on Steam -- this week it was a sequel game called West of Loathing, which features stick figures in the Wild West.
