A little slice of sexiness...[maybe]
Hello all, Panda here with something I noticed with the overall sex appeal of anime females...
In most animes you'll find that all types of women are represent. The "overly sexual could possibly be a virgin" type, the "tomboy" who figures out that yes she is a girl, and yes she wants love, the "little dorkette with the big glasses" who is shy and has a deep crush on someone and lastly, the "ditzy one" who has no clue what color the sky is, but understands the concept of love on multiple levels.
For one...WHY DOES THE DITZ ALWAYS KNOW! Like do they go to some hidden mountain retreat where some sensei [teacher] unlocks the secret of love for them to shower down upon the reasonable man?! [and by man I refer to mainkind]
And is it just me...or are the dorkettes becoming little sex kittens?! I mean seriously lets be honest ladies and gentlemen... they study during the day then rip off those big swirl glasses and BAM! WELCOME TO SEXPOT HEAVEN!
What I like most about the anime genre's portrayal of women is that it does indeed branch out it's arms...it isn't always the overly sexy ones who walk away with the true love. In a sense [outside of giant mechas, magical girls, and cats who dance ballet] they [the anime genre] show a reality that we [who actually live and exist] don't seem to actually experience or imagine could possibly exist.
