Needless to say ladies and gentlemen of the internet community, I, Pandalicious has once again stumbled into something that I feel I must mention... even if it sends me screaming and crying into the dark of night in horror.
This frightful thing is called Shinesman and it is the ultimate rip off of the Might Morphing Power Rangers. Here is where Shinesman and Mighty Morphin' differ: in Shinesman there are five adults who all work for the same company. These people are all businessmen [and one woman]. They just happen to also defend the world from the evil aliens. Ok, lets throw in another twist... the evil alien villains also work in the same building... IT'S THE BATTLE AT THE WORKPLACE!!!
The princess of the evil aliens is a real ditz and causing all kinds of trouble, sorta falls for the leader of the Shinesman [the red one of course]. The red one has a little brother who is way too well adjusted to him never being around.
Shinesman is a 3 episode OVA... and it something to watch not because it's great, because it will drive you insane with laughter.
