Hey hey, it’s new podcast episode day.
In this Skypecast episode of the podcast the sistahs are joined by their [and your] friend Douceswild to discuss the short run anime series Ikki Tousen, Pandalicious sneaks in a few WoW references, and NinJaSistah shares her views on the manufacturing news from Sony.
Oh yeah, we also touch on the subjects of bouncing boobies, NinJa perfecting her Kamehameha wave, old-ish school new console hype…or the lack there of, the projected prices for PS3’s on ebay, and gamers deserving holodeck type gaming damnit. So put aside about an hour and 15 minutes and enjoy the show.
p.s. congrats to our new candy bitch Suzaku no Miko!
Submitted for your listening pleasure, I give you podcast episode number 16.
Pandalicious and I had a slight bit of fun with this episode so grab the episode and join the madness. We kinda go off on a tangent for a while talking about Weebles, what you end up with after 4 years of Spanish from New England public schools, being members of the broke ass’d club, Panda’s growing World of Warcraft addiction, discovering Panda’s catch phrase, and a bit more before finally settling down and getting ON TOPIC. [Which was the porn desirous nature in the anime series Chobits and the shiny, pretty, loud, repetitive consonant world of N3: Ninety-Nine Nights.
Enjoy this episode, and don’t forget we are recording a Skypecast episode on 25 AUG 2006 from 5 to 6:30-ish pm
The inaugural Skypecast went off with several hitches, but here it is in all of it’s glory! We had a ball putting this episode together people, and hope you enjoy listening to it.
The Pandalicious and guest Douceswild try help NinJaSistah and the rest of the world to wrap their minds around the anime series Excel Saga; it’s whacked out craziness at it’s best? Maybe?
NinJaSistah breaks down how she sees the game industry tradeshow landscape shaping up and what she thinks of the HD DVD drive that Microsoft has been showing off lately.
The group also talks about buying games with foodstamps, pimps, the RockStar game “Bully” and Jack Thompson’s eligibility for asshole status.
All that, and a bag of chips! Join us, won’t you?
P.S. Congrats to our new T-Shirt winner: NutsyWaterbelly!
Just FYI to the Skypecast beta helpers:
The cast goes off tomorrow [Fri Aug 11th] at 5pm EST.
You need Skype, a mic, headphones, and a love of ESH, anime, and video games.
If you meet the specs and have a few secs [had to do it] stop by. Go to skypecasts.skype.com tomorrow at 4:48pm EST and search the ongoing skypecasts for ElectricSistaHood.
Or just look for the post on the podcast page about the LIVE show.
The sistahs are in mourning y’all.
Join NinJaSistah & Pandalicious as we commiserate over witnessing the passing of E3 as we know it. You may pause for a moment to pay your respects if you like. We discuss what the new E3 event might be, and what it means for outlets like ESH.
Panda explains it all [or at least as much as she can understand] about Lunar Legend Tsukihime while NinJa tries to wrap her brain around the plot of the series. It’s not an easy task, can NinJa do it? The jury is still out on that.
We also have a little more Wii-joicing as we talk about all the launch title news for the Nintendo Wii, possible game title prices for the system, and the likelihood of Spore being released on the Wii.
Not satisfying enough? Well, the sistahs also introduce their new site idea: FRESHpix. You send us photos or videos of you and your crew having a gaming party, [lan or other] anime movie marathon night, or just generally geeking out and we’ll put it up on the website. Their are perks to sending this stuff in to us at FRESH@electricsistahood.com…tune in now to find out what.
Hey guys, I have a couple of questions for ya.
Do you have the current version of Skype on your computer? You do? Cool. Um, do you have a mic and some headphones that you can plug into your computer while you are using Skype? Seriously, you do? Double cool. Ok, how about this one: Do you happen to be doing nothing next Friday night [Aug 11] between 5 and 6:30pm? Get the eff out! Are you kidding me? Because I don’t like being kidded. But if all of the above is true for you, you just might be able to be part of our SkypeCast Live [to tape] Show Beta! [You may insert your chosen happy dance of joy here]
We are looking for some volunteers to help us test out recording our shows in front of a live internet audience via Skype and their beta SkypeCast service. If you meet all of these criteria and know your way around Skype send us an email and let us know you’d like to be down for the beta run of the ESH live to tape shows. You’ll be able to listen to us record the podcast live, and can even be part of the conversation yourself!
So if you’re down to mess around, let us know!

Is that a shuriken in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
