ESH Cast # 401: Damsels Are In Distress, But Not For The Reason You Think

Podcast Episode 401 ImageNew week. New podcast. Ninja is still talking about Bungie's Destiny game.

We start the show with what's got Ninjasistah down in the dumps this week. (Here's a hint as to why: she couldn't go to PAX Prime.) One thing to note here is that Dragon Con happened around the same time, but it seems she forgot to raise a stink about that.

Following the PAX Prime rant, Ninja goes on to talk about Deep Silver's PAX Prime announcement about Volition's stand-alone game, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell. Panda joins in the convo with deep contemplation on one of the new featured weapons, the locust gun that launches a plagued of frogs at its targets. Then we talk a bit about other show news, including Dead or Alive 5 is coming to the current generation consoles. (Another game Panda will not play with Ninja, because I'm kinda lame.)

We've always said, we're not a causal podcast. However, when hateful, harmful, and down-right deplorable things happen in the community that we love dearly, we have to talk about it.

Cyber-bullying of any person is wrong. Targeting women who question the perceptions that the majority of the community hold close to their chest with death and rape threats is equally wrong. The sistahs talk about the raised harassment of Anita Sarkeesian from Feminist Frequency.

But why talk about it in depth here when you can listen to the show for yourself.

Better late then never it is the ESH Cast Episode #401: Damsels Are In Distress, But Not For The Reason You Think
