Final Fantasy XII remastered as The Zodiac Age

Game will be in HD with 7.1 surround sound

They've remastered Final Fantasy XII in HD, creating Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, which has just been announced for the PS4.

A release from the developer, Square Enix, said, "the title will give Western audiences the first opportunity to experience the Zodiac Job System, a 12-job character progression system first introduced in the 2007 title, Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System.

Additional capabilities of the game include 7.1 surround sound, including high-definition voicing and newly recorded background music using the current generation of sound production and an Option to switch between the original and the new soundtrack.

There's a new trial mode where players can take on monsters and enemies in up to 100 successive battles. The new game will be coming in 2017.
