ESH Cast #505: Read the Book, Watch the Show, Google It

It's the holy trinity of enjoying a TV show, or at least that's what we say early on in this week's show.

What show are we talking about? Why, the new Luke Cage, of course. We haven't yet seen it ourselves, but at least we know how to properly get into it: read the Luke Cage comics, watch the Jessica Jones TV series or do as Panda does and just look it up on Google.

You simply won't get such stellar bits of wisdom anywhere else. And we don't just talk about Luke Cage, either. Oh, no no no no no. This week we also spend an inordinate amount of time on the movie X-Men: Apocalypse, a film that was originally released way back in May. Well, it's October, and now that it's been released on home video, Ninja has seen it and gives more than her two cents of opinion on it.

Perhaps she'll also one day see Batman V Superman, but let's hope not.

Topics also up for conversation include the upcoming Wonder Woman film, the past and future fate of Assassin's Creed and the free game End Roll.

And who says there's no such thing as free?

So now it's your turn to give it a listen for yourself by getting it right here: ESH Cast #505: Read the Book, Watch the Show, Google It.
