When I first heard the announcement about the new Prince of Persia game I was pretty skeptical. While I did not complete Price of Persia:The Two Thrones [I only got half way through the title before I moved on to something else] I had grown quite attached to my prince, and the lovely narrator voice that followed him.
But the fine folks at Ubisoft have moved on to tell the tale of a new Price, and in an entirely new way.
The new Price is stuck in the middle of the most basest good versus evil conflicts: light versus dark. Very similar the the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes which the environment of the new PoP game strongly reminds me of. In the interview video you are about to watch you can see what I'm talking about. What I find most interested is how the companion character Elika will affect the gameplay. I can not shake the fact that this new PoP game comes across as the bastard child of Twilight Prince and Ico on the PS2.
