And you thought after E3 that Panda stopped workin' it! You were wrong!
Needless to say after things were said and done, I left Los Angeles a new kind of person. I saw the industry in a new actual light. Interviews were conducted, games were played and on my last day, my flight was delayed. I was already utterly exhausted from the big event that was E3 and the very last thing on my mind was more work. As luck would have it, I was fortunate to bump into a man who had worked a booth at the convention. He was standing by the Samsung charging station[which are HORRIBLY placed, and ill suited for the many devices people need to charge before a flight!] After the most humorous banter imaginable this man begins to tell me about who he works for.
Woot! is an online store that primarily focuses on selling merchandise for affordable prices. Now the interesting thing about Woot! is they focus on selling one item a day.Hopefully it sells out otherwise we just move on to the next one. It isn't just a online store it is also a community.
So for a while, I plan to introduce a mini segment called "Things that make you go Woot!" If you are curious as to what these guys do you can look at their website www.woot.com.
