ESH Cast #471: Panda Discovers Games Like Christopher Columbus Discovered America

She doesn't always admit it, but Pandalicious reveals that she finds out about good video games from other people. Although she'd like to think she "discovered" them, in reality, they were always there before she came along.

The game of her choice this week? Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, a game not normally in her wheelhouse, but with her recent engagement, it holds a certain new affection.

Otherwise, the Sistahs discuss a whole range of topics, particularly changes within their favorite annual event, E3, the big video game show held in Los Angeles every June. Not only is Pandalicious not going this year, but Electronic Arts isn't going either. They've picked up their ball and created a public event that will precede the goings-on in L.A.

And no discussion of E3 could occur without talking about last week's PAX South event in San Antonio and the upcoming PAX East in Boston. They'll be attending the latter, but with the new open-carry laws in Texas, they're wisely staying away from there.

Also under discussion this week? The Division beta, Far Cry Primal, virtual reality, the Erased anime, yet another reorganization at Sony and today's anniversary of NinJaSistah's birth. Only some of these topics are met with derision.

All-in-all, it's a fun time as usual, so go ahead and enjoy ESH Cast #471: Panda Discovers Games Like Christopher Columbus Discovered America.
