DC shows off new Rebirth covers

17 titles are being renumbered starting in June

Now you're going to get to brag to all your friends that you have the first issue of Superman. And Batman. Oh, they won't be the iconic first issues from the 1930s, but nobody will be able to dispute you.

DC Comics go through a Rebirth -- and a renumbering -- next month with a whole range of new titles, repriced a little bit lower than has come to be expected: $2.99.

And DC Entertainment has begun showing off what the covers will look like. The first covers out of the chute are the ones you see on this page.

The 80-page DC Universe: Rebirth Special starts the process as 17 titles begin shipping twice monthly, including Batman, Superman, Green Arrow and Green Lanterns.
