Catching up with anime
The end is on the horizon for the summer anime season, and that is evident in some of the current series. Here's a recap of this week's new anime episodes.
Alderamin on the Sky Episode 8

Amanchu! Episode 7
The Fandom Post said, "This is, by far, the most slice-of-life episode of Amanchu yet. I enjoy watching the students and their antics from the viewpoint of their teacher, for once. Mato-sensei is the sort of teacher you wish you could’ve had in school, one who understands exactly what her student’s needs are and is willing to put in the time for them. She also makes me wonder what her life outside of teaching is like. Although, that sort of goes for all of these characters, we’ve seen very little of their lives outside of school. Bananya Episode 8
The Fandom Post said, "The small expansions on the world have been interesting as I’ve wanted to see how others react to Bananya and his family, but it’s still something that just feels a little weird. The stray cat outside wanting to get in is an amusing kind of danger that’s introduced here that has its moments but feels a little incomplete, like they weren’t sure what to do with it and just padded it out instead. It has its cute moments with Bananya enjoying the warmth of the sun but there’s little to really get in sync with beyond that." Read more.
