Yu-Gi-Oh! movie awarding two lucky fans a voiceover in the next film

Ever want to become the voice actor of an anime? Here's a chance to try it out.

4K Media Inc. is giving entrants a chance to enter to be heard in the North American feature film release of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions. The Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. subsidiary that manages the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand is launching a voiceover contest at the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card World Championship Tournament in Orlando, Fla. The voiceover contest in Orlando will give fans the opportunity to enter to be the voice of one of two characters in the movie.

Any U.S. resident 8 years of age or older is welcome to enter by auditioning at the tournament in Orlando Aug. 20-21. More information is available on the website at www.yugioh.com.

Fans' auditions will be judged on the overall sound quality and uniqueness of their voices, as well as appropriateness of voice to character and creative execution of the provided lines read during the audition. Two winners will be selected, each getting a spoken line in the North American version of the movie. The winners' names will also appear in the film's end credit roll and in the corresponding credits for DVD editions for North America.

The press release describes the upcoming movie this way: "In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions, the stakes have never been higher; the rivalries never as fierce; the risks never so great. One wrong move — one card short — and it's Game Over for good. A decade in the making, the movie features new designs and an all-new story from the original creator of the global phenomenon, Kazuki Takahashi. His masterful tale features anime's most beloved characters in their long-awaited return: Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba and their faithful friends Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, Téa Gardner and Bakura."
