ESH Cast #539: We’re adulting — and playing Zelda

Ninja was calmly spending Saturday morning like all Saturday mornings -- recovering from the hectic week by sleeping. Suddenly, she was awoken by a text message. Panda said she was 15 minutes away and asked what Ninja wanted from McDonalds.

Thus began a whirlwind day of gaming. Panda arrived with an armload of goodies from McDonalds and Ninja hurriedly threw together the appropriate controllers and such so Panda could guide Ninja through the travails of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch.

Luckily, a quick-thinking producer suggested that the girls mic themselves so their exploits could be turned into the new week's podcast. The result is exactly what you'll hear in this week's show.

As a program note, it is important to know that this will be the last new podcast before the beginning of the E3 show in Los Angeles. Next week's show will be a clip show, but the next week promises to feature Ninja, who will report on the show from L.A., while Panda watches from afar in dreary Boston.
