ESH Cast #547: I’ve made my threat — I hope Logitech’s listening

As any longtime listener of this podcast knows, the Sistahs are big fans of Astro Gaming. Astro has always made gaming headsets we simply love -- and we've expressed that love dozens of times on the show.

But, as things must, they are changing. You see, Ninja and Panda weren't the only ones in love with Astro. It seems that Logitech had an eye on them, too. So last week, Logitech flexed its mighty dollar-filled muscles and announced it would purchase Astro.

And, unlike Ninja and Panda, who have only the couple of hundred bucks Astro charges for its equipment, Logitech ponied up about $85 million for the thing. The Sistahs simply can't compete with that.

So the girls lament the past and anticipate the future of Astro's headsets in this week's show, hoping beyond hope that Logitech doesn't screw this up.
