ESH Cast #554: Act like you’re from Massachusetts. Never end any word with an R

We present everything in black and white on this week's show. And we try to accomplish that without getting red all over.

It's hard out there for a geek. Especially when you're a geek of color. There are lots of unthinking 12-year-olds out there, and they aren't necessarily bound to just one age group. We try really hard not to draw a certain card out of the deck, but sometimes there it is -- in plain sight. And, in the 21st century, it's difficult to call a spade by its name.

So we deal with some less-than-comfortable subjects this week, which we refer to obliquely in this posting: There was that thing about the South Park game. There was that thing about the Powerpuff Girls reboot. And there was that thing about that loud-mouthed rich guy on You Tube.

See? That wasn't hard, was it?

In addition, there's some regular ordinary talk about playing video games. Ninja spent a few hours with Destiny 2, and it's obvious that she's going to be spending more. If you haven't jumped in yet, you're going to be interested in how she's faring.

And perhaps things will settle down a little now that it's becoming autumn. Hopefully, the only things that will be falling are the leaves. Give us a listen, won't you? It's ESH Cast #554: Act like you’re from Massachusetts. Never end any word with an R.
