ESH Cast #574: Let’s hear it for the Sistahs!

Perhaps a better title for this week's podcast episode is "Let's hear it FROM the Sistahs!" That's because "hearing" it is what this week's show is all about.

Panda and I have taken a break from recording this week to recharge our batteries while we're dealing with last month's burst water pipe and the resultant drenching the House of ESH took. Let's just say that the place is still unoccupied after a month and a half. It's probably a good thing we don't do a podcast about insurance companies. If you think we're rough on the folks at E3...

For this week's clip show, we present something we've never revealed before: Raw recordings of a work in progress. You see, we aren't really as polished and professional as we sound on our podcasts. There's a rough underbelly of fits and starts that go into the production of this thing each week.

As you might expect, we're human, too. We produce grunts, moans and even more primal sounds that we hide away from you. Our producer does a good job to make us sound the way we do, but he also collects the bad stuff as well. And this week, in his infinite wisdom, he throws it all back in our faces.

We'd like to say that we don't mind. We'd like to.

But since he's got to fill up an hour with something, it might as well be something funny. Oh, there's not much about video games and anime this week, but you can't say it's not entertaining. In its own way.

So listen to us as we listen to ourselves in this week's show, ESH Cast #574: Let’s hear it for the Sistahs!

Rochelle "NinJaSistah" Hinds and Amanda "Pandalicious" Britton are the founders of ElectricSistaHood (ESH), and co-host of the network's flagship podcast, the ESH Cast. For nearly a decade, they have focused their journalistic efforts on video games and anime. That's - as the kids say these days - what's up.
