Last chance to preorder PlayStation VR Thursday morning

According to a notice on the Sony PlayStation Blog, the "summer wave" of PlayStation pre-orders starts at 7 a.m. Pacific time Thursday, June 30, at GameStop.com.

The blog post states, "Supplies are limited, and this is your final chance to pre-order. If you miss out, we will have product available in retail stores nationwide at launch." And you know what that might mean.

There are two versions of pre-launch bundles: PlayStation VR Launch Bundle, which is being sold for $499.99, and PlayStation VR core, which goes for $399.99.

The contents differentiating the bundles seem to be confusing in the blog post. It seems that one of the bundles contains a PS VR headset, VR cables, stereo headphones, a VR demo disc, PlayStation camera, two PlayStation Move motion controllers and a PlayStation VR Worlds disc. However, there is confusion whether this describes the $400 version or the $500 version.

These items originally went on pre-order in March.
