ESH Cast #534: My opinion of the new Nintendo console has switched

As the saying goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. And that old saying is very much in evidence around the ESH hacienda this week.

What has changed? Ninja has just received a brand new Nintendo Switch, heralding the dawning of a new era. At the same time, she has given up on the old Wii U and sold it to GameStop, which must think they actually have a use for it beyond an extra doorstop.

What has stayed the same? That will become more than evident once you start listening to this week's show. As they have done for the past 11 years, Ninja and Panda find things to complain about, regarding the upcoming E3 show in LA in June.

If only the E3 folks were just a little smarter, they would still be in business, holding big annual video game conventions. What is that you say? They are still in business and holding their big annual video game conventions? There must be some kind of disconnect here. We'll let you figure it out.

And, regarding that big hubbub around Microsoft's Fan Fest? Microsoft managed to iron out a few of the wrinkles in that controversy, enough so that Ninja was, at least, moderately satisfied with it.

In addition to talking about video games, the girls make good on their promise to talk about anime on this show. Ninja discusses KADO: The Right Answer, while Panda talks about watching the first episode of The Royal Tutor. We will likely hear more about those shows in the future.

You'll hear all the sordid details by listening to ESH Cast #534: My opinion of the new Nintendo console has switched .
