ESH Cast #558: We’re already off the exit to Tangent Town

It's a show about video games and anime, right? You wouldn't think that by listening to the first eight minutes of this week's show.

The program goes completely off the rails for a little while, but returns to a steady course after that, we're glad to say.

Once we get back to the usual subjects, we discuss the Assassin's Creed series in general and how that all leads us to the upcoming Assassin's Creed Origins game [Xbox One | PS4]. Will we play it? The jury is still out on that one. Depends on what we see on YouTube, I guess.

After that, Panda discusses the farming game Stardew Valley [PS4 | Xbox One]. Since she's always been a city girl, the dilapidated farm she has to take on doesn't quite have all the amenities she's used to. How do you go to the bathroom when there's no bathroom? Someone should acquaint her with the concept of "nature."

While Panda's busy with Stardew Valley, she's been trying to stay awake for Nier Automata while her husband plays the game. Unfortunately, that seems to be a losing cause.

In the meantime, Ninja is going deep into a current-running anime called King's Game, which is only good for mature folks who like that kind of thing.

At any rate, it's a lively show and you ought to give it a chance: ESH Cast #558: We’re already off the exit to Tangent Town.
