Home2010 (Page 15)

Hi Monday, you are a special Monday. You know why? Because you bring with you Episode 200 of the Electric Sista Hood podcast that's why!

In this age of day one DLC and games that never get a single patch, it’s nice to see developers going that extra mile for the fans. And no, this time I’m not talking about Naughty Dog.

Lion-o is ready to go!

There is no Thundercats film yet, but a new Thundercats animated series is ready to pounce in 2011.

PS3 users are treated to a free week of the first episode of Kekkaishi, starting on Thursday. Kekkaishi  can also be seen on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, though it has not popped up in their video section. Damn you!

E3 is right around the corner and I’m sure there are a bunch of surprises in store for us.  For now though, we have a lot of stuff to look forward to that we already know about.  Mafia II, which is slated to hit stores late August, is looking like it could be very impressive.  Everything from the intriguing story to the use of NVIDIA’s PhysX engine to create more destructible environments makes this game worth keeping in your sights.

Oh long weekend Monday how we love you, especially when you have a new episode of the Electric Sista Hood podcast to enjoy.

In this episode we kick off the short week the right way by scaring ourselves (and you) in the pants.

“Epic” is not a word often used to describe TV-based books. However, in the case of The Mighty Book of Boosh, it’s the only word in the English dictionary to rightfully label it.

With the announcement that Killzone 3 is going to be in 3D, that got me thinking about this whole 3D thing and which medium it might work well in.  To be honest, I love going to see movies in 3D in the movie theater but, I am not thoroughly convinced by enjoying it in the home.  Also, I think there may be some very good arguments for making the 3D leap on a video game system, but obviously there are some factors that make me hesitant there as well.  The real question remains: Is this just a fad or is it going to catch on and become the future?

Another week, another new episode of the ESH podcast. In this episode the ladies do something a little but different, they record the episode while playing a game for the first time.

That game just hsppens to be Red Ded Redemption.
