Another Anime Boston has come and gone. As this was my third time going (and my first solo mission for ESH & B3) I had to give it my all to report as much as I could about AB2010. However there were two problems with this: no press room to sit down and type things out as events came and gone, and -- in my opinion -- not a whole lot about the convention to really talk about.

Word just hit the "screets" that the super popular anime/manga, Bleach, will be coming to a theater near you. I'm excited, but skeptical.

I must've woken up in Bizarro World; that's the only explanation. Here I am watching a Yuri anime comedy that not only isn't perverted, but it contains an actual plot?! AND IT'S GOOD?! Yes, boys and girls, miracles can happen, and 2009's Sasameki Koto is surely one of them.

As I have grown disappointed of the anime industry in the past year, I decided to search for a couple series that have yet to be licensed in America that were released before the "anime crash." One show that I came across via Crunchyroll was called Skip Beat, and man is it shiny.

I find that most anime series dealing with butlers have been both successful and entertaining. Hayate the Combat Butler, They Are My Noble Masters and Kuroshitsuji are three fine examples of butler-based anime series that prove my point. When I heard about Ladies versus Butlers!, I thought I was going to watch a great comedy that would help turn the anime world away from the funk it got itself into last year. Alas, I was dead wrong.
