Electronic Entertainment Expos are exhausting. There are way to many people. Not enough places to take a break and sit down. There isn't enough time to take a break to sit down in any case on any day, so that last statement really shouldn't matter. Four hours in you realize you aren't going to make it to all of the appointments you set up nor are you going to be able to see much of anything because you my friend, are a single, solitary, mere mortal.
It's a crushing realization. So, "what keeps you motivated to continually subject yourself to attending events like this?" you might ask. (You are so polite.)
Why, all the new gadget announcements (like the one Razer made today) that restoreth my nerd soul and keep me trekking through Central Hall, when I really just want a Dove bar and a back rub.
It's been almost four decades since we had a high-profiled silent movie the world's gone crazy over (Mel Brooks's classic Silent Movie), thanks in part to our film industry being laid brick by brick with a 100% ratio of talking in it. Michel Hazanavicius's The Artist, however, does more without words than just about every film released in 2011.
Thinking back to the history of sequels, it’s a rare treat when they are just as good as their predecessor. Even more rare are the sequels that far surpass what came before them. The Uncharted series started with a bang and brought cinematic action to the Playstation 3 in a time when it truly needed a hit. It was a fantastic game, so when a sequel was announced, it was hard to imagine it being much better. Thankfully, what came of that situation was one of the best games to have been released on the Playstation 3.

Devoted fans of The Legend of Zelda series can certainly be a fickle bunch. If the last game in the series was too much like A Link to the Past's tried and true formula, the fans cry out for change. If a game deviates too far, they all demand a return to the series roots. Today's pre-game, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, fell into the latter category.
