In this episode of the podcast, NinJaSistah and Pandalicious go over the results of the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards with a fine tooth comb commenting on what we both agree and disagree with nearly category by category.

Kicking off the hour we talk about some of the teaser trailers for newly announced games in the Medal of Honor and Green Day: RockBand franchises. Things always seem to run right off the tracks when the Sistahs are joined by a guest, and there's no exception to that in this week's podcast. The girls are joined by Alphabox of Dead Pixel Live -- and you've got to hear it to believe it.

Panda enthuses about Prototype, Alpha takes off on Battlezone and Ninja relates her pleasure with the Xbox 360 game show 1 vs. 100. And there are ethnic slurs and a pre-show discussion on balls that's guaranteed to bring on a giggle or two.

A prophecy in the making....25 years in the making!

    posted @ 7/03/2009 08:50:00 AM by Pandalicious

25 years ago...an elder wrote on a scroll the tale of a chosen one...

That is right ladies and gentleman, citizens of ESHland! Pandalicious has crossed the line between young woman to...old. This is right, I have reached the tender age of 25. I can hardly believe it myself. Twenty-five years of...studying, crying, eating, sleeping, playing video games, NOT playing video games, WoW (yes I had to mention it) Being apart of a great community whether it was the one we made here at ESH, or being apart of the Allgames family.

So... I've decided to share with you all...something that was quite popular on facebook...I'm going to share 25 things about myself that you may or may not know....

Here it comes...[That's what HE said]

    1. My idea of a late start of the day is 9am....

    2. Every morning I secretly hope that the world will break out into song...like in musicals

3.Every other morning I *used to* work out with my Wii Fit.

4.I only pretend to be a Diva in my own mind.

    5.I strongly dislike Bananas

6.I do not want World Peace...because the world would be lying to itself.

7.Perversion is a hobby of mine, not a trait.

8.I'm deathly scared of planes...well...tragically dying in one mostly

    9. I'm attempting to perfect my art of photography

10.I feel more like my father's daughter than my mothers

11.I feel more fulfilled when I've walked someplace versus driving there.

12.I dream in series..my dreams tell me stories.

13.When i'm walking alone in a hall/stairwell/ or tunnel on campus I pretend i'm in
music videos. (Yes I'm that girl who dances until she sees u are looking at her)

    14. OMG SHOES...I love shoes....pretty sexy shoes that I HARDLY wear

    15. I'm an internet radio personality....with ACTUAL fans...(I know right!)

16.The idea of being popular makes me sick to my stomach.

17.I'm the "mother" of my group of friends

18.I still have friends from elementary school and I'm glad about it

19.I wish I were more open to the worlds influences.

    20. I smoke cigarettes when i'm extremely stressed out

    21. There is a butterfly on my left shoulder.

    22. I'm a gamer today, tomorrow and forever

    23. My favorite facial feature are my eyes...

24.I will forever dislike Twilight, or vampires that DON"T BLOW UP in SUNLIGHT

    25. Is truly happy about the way my life is going....

So there you have it folks...things you wouldn't know about me unless you asked. I'm off to enjoy my birthday and I suggest you all do the same. So... all of you who are able to raise a drink up high, and those of you underage go grab some soda or something and let's celebrate the day!

New Podcast Day: Panda Goes Down the Yellow Brick Road

    posted @ 11/24/2008 05:00:00 AM by evermore
What happens if you set Pandalicious loose on the All Games network? Well, in this week's ElectricSistaHood podcast, you're about to find out.

Sure, it's another clip show, but if you haven't been listening to the podcasts from All Games, this will all be new to you. Pandalicious spent the summer crashing other podcasts, including Super Happy Funtime Show, Ultimate Quest and Dead Pixel Live, leaving podcast hosts in her wake.

And whether she's ultra-serious, as she is on the Ultimate Quest podcast, or her usual profane self, as she is on Dead Pixel Live, we think you'll be highly entertained by it all.

So don't hesitate to listen to Panda's adventures on this week's Episode 122: Pandalicious Goes Podcrashing.

    posted @ 10/06/2008 01:53:00 AM by evermore
If you're a long-time listener of the ESH podcasts, you'll find this one has a completely different feel. That's because this episode was recorded absolutely live at the E For All show this past weekend.

Ninjasistah appeared live at the show, along with guests Loserly from Dead Pixel Live, April Carlson and Mandie Bettencourt from Girls Got Game, who discuss the true integration of girls and gaming sites.

Pandalicious represents, as usual, by talking about her fear of upcoming live-action movies made of her favorite anime stories. And MagicMysticGrl shows up after a long absence to talk about everything .hack.

Here are the headlines that were rejected for this one:

    Working Part-Time, 43 Hours a Week

In Anime, Girls Will Be Girls, and So Will Boys

    When Microphone Positioning Becomes Erotic

Panda Has a Filter, She Just Has to Remember to Put It On

    T-Minus 2 Hours And Counting

    posted @ 10/03/2008 12:05:00 PM by Ninjasistah
I'm sitting at the SJC airport waiting to get on a plane to head to LA for E For All

There is a lot of stuff going on at E For All this year. A lot of people are going to be in the house including EA and Ubisoft whom I'm really interested in seeing, [Please, please, please surprise me and bring Prince of Persia with you] but there are some lesser known [at least to me] companies that will be at the expo that I'm curious about and plan on visiting while I'm at the show.

First up is Dude Thing Creations. They make a peripheral stand for RockBand/GuitarHero games and I like the look of the stand. I'm not a musician, [not even close] so I always felt that going to Guitar Center to get an actual guitar stand would be kinda poser-ish, but this custom stand that the "Dudes" have put together is sensible and downright sexy. It would fit right in with my living room decor so I'm going to swing by and find out more about these dudes and their things.

Nova Gaming is going to be in the spot, and I'm curious about their new B4L bag. I'm not a huge LAN fan [he he, I mades a pun] but I am a fan of specific purpose gear bags, and hate jamming gear into a backpack when I do venture out of my apartment to game.

And then there is Tritton who has made my heart go pitter patter with the announcement that their SEE2 Xtreme now supports OSX on the Mac. I've been looking for a new monitor for my MBP and decided that I'd love to go super-pimp on my desktop setup [when I'm there] with a pair of monitors flanking my lil silver slate of awesome. To be able to have monitors connected via USB over DVI connectors with no lag... ::DROOLS::

Now that I've drooled on myself, I think I'll stop. Plus, planes almost here. Talk to you in a few. Let me know what you are curious about, and don't forget to catch ESH Live tomorrow on the All Games Radio Network!

    Someone took my Tokenity.....

    posted @ 8/25/2008 12:52:00 PM by Pandalicious
As you were all aware, we as hosts were given this mystical tokens that once given out would bestow magical "gift" properties through the allgames network.

As stipulated....I set up a challenge that if someone formally challenged me in ten rounds of SC4 and beat me they could win my token, or if I was challenged in a Civ Rev game and was defeated could also get you to token land.

Well I awaiting challengers and no one came until the strong and powerful....[though I hate to admit it....] Alphabox. YES he was a fighter of epic proportions, he was fighter by chance, and he used Yoda too....

However Alphabox claimed the token of another host of a different all games show...so I devised a way to sort this out...through the power of delegation. Alphabox was able to pass the token won from me to a close friend of his in the allgames community And...the winner of this sacred delegated token is......ZAPPY

So Zappy you know the drill as you are of the community!..Enjoy Alpha's victory because with out it, you wouldn't be getting presents...

    Thus Spoke Pandalicious....

In case you missed it, we are giving away an XBox 360 to a lucky [and clever] viewer. It could be you, you lucky bastard!

If you are one of the poor unfortunate souls to yet listen to the ESH podcast, we've recently become part of the All Games Radio Network and have partnered with the rest of the clan on the network to give one of our collective awesome fans a GTAIV Limited Edition Xbox 360 Elite. This is not one of the completely pimped out deals with the briefcase full of peripherals, but is a free XB360 nonetheless. Wanna know how you can win it?

    1. The entry can be in the form of an MP3 emailed to the affiliate show OR as a voicemail left on that show's voicemail line.
    2. Only one entry per affiliate show, however multiple affiliate shows can be entered with unique audio clips. (No sending the same audio to multiple shows.)
    3. Submissions will either be played on the affiliate show or put up on
the show's website (or forums.allgames.com) and will be voted on via the community in a poll with the results hidden. Winners of these votes advance to the final round.
    4. If one person wins multiple affiliate contests, a coin flip will determine which show he/she wins, the other show chooses the runner-up as their finalist.
    5. The contest is only open to North American residents, as it is an NTSC console.
    6. No copywritten materials are permitted in the entry - parody is okay, just don't use the original.
    7. All submissions become the property of the affiliate show they are submitted to, as they will be used in promotion of that show.
