    Getaway Giveaway

    posted @ 9/22/2009 11:29:00 PM by Ninjasistah
We mentioned this on the podcast and have it on blast this week but wanted to remind you that EA is running a great giveaway on Twitter right now that you need to check out.

The giveaway is running THIS WEEK ONLY and ends at 11:59pm on the 25th. The neat thing is that the giveaway is simple to enter, does not require you to spend any money, and just might end up putting some Need For Speed: SHIFT but each day 30 or so folks that successfully complete little "missions" and notify the @NeedForSpeed on twitter will win concert tickets to artists featured on the NFS soundtrack, or copies of the game, hell, some lucky SOB is going to walk away with a BMW M3.

You read that correctly. EA is giving away a BMW M3 to some lucky twitterer this week for participating in their NFS Twitter Contest. Would that be a TwitTest? I don't know, but if you aren't getting in on this one you don't deserve the internet.

Follow @NeedForSpeed on twitter and enter each day. If you win something, let us know. If I win something believe me, you'll hear about it, especially if it's the M3!

    Win The XBox 360 Elite

    posted @ 5/03/2008 06:19:00 PM by Ninjasistah
Time has damn near run out people! You have until 8pm tonight to get your entry to the GTA IV All Games Radio Network giveaway.

Seriously. Like we've been saying on the podcast and in that mini bar at the topic all our pages, you have a shot at winning a limited edition XBox 360 through ESH. All you got to do is make a 60-120 second [that's one to two minutes] promo for ESH in the guise of a radio station bump that would appear in the game.

We will be picking the semi finalists to send on to the final round at AllGames.com Sunday Nay 4th.

So get cracken, or don't bitch to me about not being able to play Ninja Gaiden 2 because you don't have a 360.

    GTAIV Giveaway: XBox 360 Elite

    posted @ 4/21/2008 09:09:00 PM by Ninjasistah
In case you missed it, we are giving away an XBox 360 to a lucky [and clever] viewer. It could be you, you lucky bastard!

If you are one of the poor unfortunate souls to yet listen to the ESH podcast, we've recently become part of the All Games Radio Network and have partnered with the rest of the clan on the network to give one of our collective awesome fans a GTAIV Limited Edition Xbox 360 Elite. This is not one of the completely pimped out deals with the briefcase full of peripherals, but is a free XB360 nonetheless. Wanna know how you can win it?

Here's the deal: One of the cornerstones of the GTA series is the in-game radio stations, complete with spoof ads and spoof segments. Now's the time for you to step up and create your own... for ESH.

Submit a sound clip no longer than 120 seconds in the style of a GTA4 Radio Station commercial for ESH. It can be a spoof ad, segment, song, whatever. While we prefer you submit only an ad for ESH to this site, you can create ads for all of the participants from the All Games Radio Network, which include the following:

    • All Games Interactive
    • Dead Pixel Live
    • The Bobby Blackwolf Show
    • Orange Lounge Radio
    • Superhappyfuntimeshow
    • ElectricSistaHood
    • MediSpective
    • ChatterBox Video Game Radio
    • Video Game Outsiders
    • Ultimate Quest
    • The Video Games Show
    • Platform Nation

    THE RULES
    1. The entry can be in the form of an MP3 emailed to the affiliate show OR as a voicemail left on that show's voicemail line.
    2. Only one entry per affiliate show, however multiple affiliate shows can be entered with unique audio clips. (No sending the same audio to multiple shows.)
    3. Submissions will either be played on the affiliate show or put up on
the show's website (or forums.allgames.com) and will be voted on via the community in a poll with the results hidden. Winners of these votes advance to the final round.
    4. If one person wins multiple affiliate contests, a coin flip will determine which show he/she wins, the other show chooses the runner-up as their finalist.
    5. The contest is only open to North American residents, as it is an NTSC console.
    6. No copywritten materials are permitted in the entry - parody is okay, just don't use the original.
    7. All submissions become the property of the affiliate show they are submitted to, as they will be used in promotion of that show.
    8. Cast and crew of the participating affiliate shows are not eligible.
    9. The decisions of the judges (affiliate show hosts at the affiliate level, All Games Radio at the final level) is final.

    THE SCHEDULE
    • Sunday, April 20th: Submission period opens
    • Sunday, May 4th: Submission deadline at midnight PT, 3am EST

You got that? You could win a FREAKING XBox Elite MAN!!!! All you got to do is create a GTAIV style radio ad for ESH or any of the All Games Radio Affiliates and submit it [via email] to us as an MP3 with your contact info to this address.

    posted @ 4/21/2008 12:32:00 AM by Ninjasistah
Being Monday and all, far be it from us to keep a new episode of the ESH podcast from you.

In this episode of the podcast NinJasistah kicks off her editorial piece on the good, the hrm, and the wickedly awesome tip for video game franchises with her take on Super Smash Brothers. Pandalicious jumps in the mix to talk about the anime series Soul Eater a weird and dark tale that Panda swears can be liked to the bastard child of Bleach and One Piece. [Yeah, try to get that image out of your head.] But don't think we don't have some randomness for you. We work a little Paranoia Agent, Death Note, and even a couple of references to Neon Genesis Evangelion. Don't trust me? Check out the titles we didn't use:
    • Panda Likes It Random
    • That Death Scythe Would Be handy Around Plants & Shrubs
    • 11-Year-Old Girls Shouldn't Spend time Around Ham

    Magic Manga Mania

    posted @ 12/15/2006 11:52:00 PM by MagicMystic
As promised, I present to you the Magic Manga Mania givaway.

    So, here's the deal.

    - Winners will be announced during the podcast, so it will run Friday to Friday
    - I will put up a post each Friday explaining which manga I will be giving away as well as the rules of the game
    - The following Friday, right before the podcast I will put up a comment to cap the thread and I will start up a new week's post
    - Each week I will ask a question and my favorite/the best answer will win
    - No one can win twice in a row
    - If there are fewer than 3 responses to the question I will hold off on the Giveaway for another week
    - ESH members aren't eligible for the Giveaway
    - Just posting a comment for the Magic Manga Mania Givaway will also qualify you to be a Candy Bitch
    - I will post my answer to the question at the end of the week, my post will signify the end of the thread and no posts after mine will be eligible to win

    This Weeks Manga:

Peach Girl (Vol. 1) by Miwa Ueda
Momo is a typical teenage girl, except for her looks. Momo tans easily and her hair is bleached out, so anyone who sees her assumes that she is a beach bunny and a slut. Old men hit on her when she walks down the street, and no one takes her seriously. He one true friend Sae, is a little backstabbing bitch behind the scenes and is responsible for many of the nastier roumors circulating the school. Momo has a crush on a boy named Toji, but Sae also likes him, leading to an all out war. Add in the wise-cracking Kiley who likes Momo and you have a genuine love quadrangle.

    This Weeks Question:

Kids in high school love labeling each other and dividing themselves into groups. Everyone is a member of at least one exclusive group that looks down on the others. Even if a kid is in the "Outsiders", the "I'm-not-in-a-clique" clique, they take pride in that fact and look down upon those who conform. When you were in high school, what group of people did you hang out with? Which clique were you a part of?

Daily News: What? No Kitchen Sink?

    posted @ 11/09/2006 12:09:00 AM by evermore
    In today's news:
    • Just like razors... or ink jet printers
    • Free, as in beer
    • Winners galore
    • Playing the Game Name Game
    • Being popular has its price

How to spend $700 for a Nintendo Wii: The great thing about the Nintendo Wii is the cheap price, right? You won't think so after hearing about tonight's sale on the GameStop.com website. Tonight you can buy a Nintendo Wii Bundle in a GameStop online-only sale for the low, low price of... $694.88, which doesn't include tax and shipping. What do you get for the extra $450 you're spending on a $250 machine? Six games (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Trauma Center: Second Opinion, Red Steel, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz and Madden NFL 2007), an extra controller, a 1GB memory card, a 12-month product replacement plan and subscription to Game Informer magazine.

How to get a Wii for free: GameFly is giving away a Wii each day through Nov. 30. If you're a current GameFly subscriber, just go to the GameFly website and click on the link to the contest. Not a subscriber? You could sign up for a trial subscription or just go to this link. The official rules are right here.

How to win more stuff: While we're on the subject of winning game-related stuff, here are some more current giveaways: Enter here to win a $3,000 package of consoles and games, including the PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and PSP from RewardTV. Enter here for an Xbox 360 package, including 27-inch HDTV and a copy of Gears of War from GamePro. Enter here to win a Wii and a copy of Red Steel from 7-Eleven. Enter here to win a Wii, the games Excite Truck and Legend of Zelda and an extra remote controller from Nintendo. Enter here to win a Wii from Pringles.

Just don't call it E3.1: Some are calling it the successor to E3, but whatever it is, it doesn't have a name yet. IDG, which owns GamePro and many other tech-related magazines, will be conducting a consumer-focused gaming event at the Los Angeles Convention Center Oct. 18-20, 2007, according to the GamePro website. What to call it? IDG has started a contest through Nov. 20 for that very purpose. Grand prize is a free trip for two to the thing.

Negima, Vol. 3: Magic 301 - Practical Application of Magic (Limited Edition): Life at Mahora Academy is anything but predicatble, a theorem which Negi Springfield and the girls of Class 2-A seem determined to test! When a class project incurs the wrath of one of their own, what follows is a virtual, digitally-enhanced popularity contest, no holds barred. How about a little war, World Wide Web style? I understand this Limited Edition version contains a collectible Negima figure.
