The first thing that will cross your mind whenever anyone sets eyes on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has to be whether or not it’s exactly the same as Super Smash Bros. Having just gotten my hands on the upcoming PS3 and PSVita title, and being a pretty avid fan of the Smash Bros series, the answer to that question is a bit complicated. While they do share some similarity in concept and control, there are a few key differences in how they are played that makes them a bit different.
One of the newest games announced at the Nintendo Press Conference was Tank! Tank! Tank!, a cel-shaded shooter arcade port that will have up to five players battling against many threats to the planet. Over at the Namco Bandai booth I was given the chance to take these war machines out for a test drive.
Naughty Dog has been known to bring us treasures like: Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and the Uncharted triology. Their lastest project, Last of Us will join that list shortly. Initially when the world saw its first glimpse of Last of Us, many were quick to write it off as an Uncharted game with a older Nathan Drake lookalike. Those people were W-R-O-N-G.
Disney's upcoming animated film Wreck-It Ralph is being pushed out there as a massive love letter to video game fanatics everywhere, so it comes as no surprise that they would plan to build a game based off it. No one counted on the fact, however, that it would be both massively addictive and fun.
