ESH CAST # 435: One Bad Assassin's Creed Doesn't Spoil the Whole Bunch. Yes It Does.

There is a serious RANT in this week's episode. From the title can you guess what it is about? You can't.

This week the sistahs are throwing so much content out there that it will make your head spin.

Before the meat of the show begins Ninja had to get some aggression out over something from her past. Her nostalgia demon rose from the septs of her being. That's right she is ranting about the Jem and the Holograms trailer.

Jem is a cartoon from the 80's that was way before it's time in terms of concept and complex plot. A young woman named Jerrica, who is passionate about music loses her father. In that loss, she inherits his failing music company. One night she is lured out by a mysterious message and discovers her father had been involved in creating some interesting technology. With this she steps up to the plate and tries to save her father's legacy.

So when news came out that a movie was being made people were worried. Looks like they had every right to be. Everything that made Jem awesome was chucked for scarps. But ...just listen to Ninja blow the eff up over the whole thing.

Ninja and Panda bring up the fast-approaching E3. The rumor mill is churning at a furious pace with anticipated guesses over what will be revealed. Panda won't be making the trip this year, but will be gladly covering it from the most comfortable couch in her house.

Panda talked about Square Enix moving their press conference back an hour to accommodate Nintendo's live stream event. The two debate over who is going to dominate this year's event. Ninja ventured into Ubisoft-land to talk little about the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. A game from it's debut player suggests that the team watched Gangs of New York on loop and decided to put it in Victorian London and throw some Assassin flavor into the mix.

Remember all the – not so wonderful thing s– that happened with Unity? Remember that female protagonist we were suppose to get? Remember how they had to take that off the table due to not having the budget and time to put into a female model build? Remember blah blah blah blah BLAH?! Exactly. Well this is slightly being addressed in Syndicate with the protagonists being a brother/sister duo. It it enough to get Ninja's future money? Probably.

Panda brings up her experience with the cheaper and far more mobile alternative to the Oculus Rift: Google Cardboard. For those who are curious if they really want to invest in virtual reality as a subset of the gaming world, then google cardboard would be the kiddie pool that they should wade in before making that foreseeable massive purchase.

This show wouldn't be ESH if Ninja didn't get to talk about Destiny for some allotment of time and Panda didn't get to get fired up over the latest episode of Food Wars. They both have some serious addictions to work through.

But lets not waste a single moment.
