With Megaman 10 out on Wii, PSN, and soon to be released on 360, Megaman fever is sure to be abuzz. I however, have my eyes set a bit on the future. I was never an avid player of the classes NES Megaman titles, preferring the gameplay of the X series. But I’m even more interested in the storyline that follows the Blue Bomber’s friend, of the red persuasion. That’s right folks; the wielder of the Z-buster is getting somewhat of a comeback.

Alrighty, the first part of my first day of PAX East is in the history books and I have to say the experience has been great.

Good news everybody, I'm awake and slowly making my way down to the Hynes Convention Center in Boston and kick off my very first PAX East. I am really excited to catch up with some media friends, make new connections and try my hand at some of the game demos that await me. I am obviously not alone in this, as this convention is already totally sold out! That's right! In it's first year of existence the PAX East conference has sold out of all pass types and filled Boston's mammoth Hynes convention center. (No small feat for sure) This got me thinking though. How did they do it? After my morning dunks run it came to me:

There is no other big gamer convention on the East Coast.

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  Some new releases hit stores today, including a very eagerly awaited Red Steel 2.  The sequel uses the new Wii Motion Plus and it looks to be the sword-fighting gun-slinging action title we were hoping for back in 2006.  This got me thinking about all the promising peripherals, past and present (and even the future), brought to us from Nintendo and their support, or lack thereof.  From the NES Zapper to the Wii Balance Board, a lot of plastic has built up in my house over the years, but how much of it was put to its best use?

As you know, the first annual PAX East gamer-con kicks off Friday and as a previous con-go-er I figured I would share some thoughts on what I want out of my PAX experience. First up, what I want to see.

God of War 3 gets put through the paces in this excerpt from Episode 189 of the ElectricSistaHood podcast. Here, NinjaSistah and Pandalicious discuss the gory details of Kratos' journey through Hell. It's not a pretty sight.

Word just hit the "screets" that the super popular anime/manga, Bleach, will be coming to a theater near you. I'm excited, but skeptical.

God of War 3... why yes that is a good way to start off your Monday, but an ESH podcast episode where the ladies talk about God of War 3 is the best way to kick it off.

In the 1990s MTV had two well-known things: music videos and kick-ass cartoons. (Okay, three if you count when The Real World was actually good!) In 1994 Music Television hit its animated peak with MTV's Oddities, which showcased two incredibly original series: The Head and The Maxx. Thanks to Amazon's DVD-On Demand service both shows are now available in their entirety exclusively via their website. This week we will focus on the first Oddities cartoon The Head.
