Happy Tuesday, everyone!  Some new releases hit stores today, including a very eagerly awaited Red Steel 2.  The sequel uses the new Wii Motion Plus and it looks to be the sword-fighting gun-slinging action title we were hoping for back in 2006.  This got me thinking about all the promising peripherals, past and present (and even the future), brought to us from Nintendo and their support, or lack thereof.  From the NES Zapper to the Wii Balance Board, a lot of plastic has built up in my house over the years, but how much of it was put to its best use?

As you know, the first annual PAX East gamer-con kicks off Friday and as a previous con-go-er I figured I would share some thoughts on what I want out of my PAX experience. First up, what I want to see.

God of War 3 gets put through the paces in this excerpt from Episode 189 of the ElectricSistaHood podcast. Here, NinjaSistah and Pandalicious discuss the gory details of Kratos' journey through Hell. It's not a pretty sight.

Word just hit the "screets" that the super popular anime/manga, Bleach, will be coming to a theater near you. I'm excited, but skeptical.

God of War 3... why yes that is a good way to start off your Monday, but an ESH podcast episode where the ladies talk about God of War 3 is the best way to kick it off.

In the 1990s MTV had two well-known things: music videos and kick-ass cartoons. (Okay, three if you count when The Real World was actually good!) In 1994 Music Television hit its animated peak with MTV's Oddities, which showcased two incredibly original series: The Head and The Maxx. Thanks to Amazon's DVD-On Demand service both shows are now available in their entirety exclusively via their website. This week we will focus on the first Oddities cartoon The Head.

Welcome to the show!

I am playing baseball. Again. You know what, though? I don't hate it! In fact, I think this is better than the other baseball demo I played last week.

An undead uprising throws a kingdom into chaos; three unwitting heroes are the only hope to defeat the evil plague and restore the king to his throne; their souls trapped together, they must find a way to work together, and find the three artifacts that can save them from their plight, and it’s on sale?

Hello out there internet.  Hamsterman2049 here.  I know, we’ve never met, so before I launch right into it, I thought I’d give you an idea of what you’re in for.  I started my gaming life in the late 1980s, with the Nintendo Entertainment System.  The first three games I ever played were Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy.  I currently enjoy playing games on all the current generation consoles as well as the Nintendo DS.  Film and video are my other biggest passion with zombies being a commonly recurring theme on my shelf.  I love all genres of games and even like to sit down with a bad one every once in a while.  Sort of like a bad movie, sometimes a bad game is just as fun.  Now that you know a bit more about me, I’ll let you in on a little secret.

I love Pokemon.

Have you ever wanted to live the Platinum Life? If hang around on Facebook for long enough, you've probably gotten caught up in playing one of those in-browser games like Mafia Wars, Farmville, or all that other stuff. For me, playing
