ESH Cast #434: Who Will Win E3? (I Didn't Know It Was a Game)

The Konami code will not work on it this time.

This show is an emotional rollercoaster of topics from the sistahs. NinJa starts the show off on a high note talking about the ever-growing hype train coming from the West...E3. The hype train focus here is what NinJa would like (and would not like) to see at the show starting June 16th. Some of ESH crew will be heading to LA to not only soak in some sun, but bring you some hot-off-the-presses gaming news. It'll be totally rad, and you should check it out on our sites: EGMNOW.com/ElectricSistaHood and ElectricSistaHood.com.

Enough about that.

Panda brings the mood down a little, with a game she played on Steam that really entered the realm of an "experience" more than a "gaming experience." Actual Sunlight isn't a game that people who struggle with feelings and thoughts self-harm should play. It tackles a lot of difficult themes like depression, self-hate, and suicide.

After talking about the impact this game had on her, Panda brought the mood up with a super cute mobile game - called My Singing Monsters - that finally caused her to engage in micro-transactions. If you dare, it is available on Android and iOS.

NinJa rounds out the show talking about the cast of upcoming Suicide Squad movie, and the recent leak of photos showing the Squad suited up. A major comic book rant follows immediately after, so be prepared for that.

You've been warned. Now please enjoy ESH Cast #434: Who Will Win E3? (I Didn't Know It Was a Game)
